Our Policies:

Vestal is a small 75 seat reservation driven restaurant. We are happy to welcome walk in guests and will do our best accommodate as much as possible. We reserve 20 seats nightly at the bar and kitchen counter for our more spontaneous guests.

  • The largest group we can accommodate for a regular (non-private) reservation is 12.
  • Seating cannot be guaranteed for any guests in excess of their reservation.
  • If you wish to cancel, increase, or reduce your party size, we politely ask that you reach someone by email at the restaurant guestservices@vestalrestaurant.com at least twenty-four (24) hours before your reservation
  • We do understand that certain circumstances will arise within a twenty-four (24) and ask that should circumstances occur that require you to miss your reservation time, you will give us a courtesy call or email to inform us that you will not be coming.
  • Please note that we strictly enforce our NO CALL / NO SHOW Policy $75 for each person on the reservation. This will be applied to the credit card on file. 
  • In order to accommodate all of our guest reservations in a timely manner, we have a 2.5 hour table limit for all party sizes. Should you wish to extend your visit with us past the allotted time, we kindly ask that you reserve accordingly. Guest that book within 2.5 hours of our closing time (Tuesday-Thursday after 6:30pm and Friday - Saturday after 8pm) will have no subsequent reservations, will not be held to our table time limit, and will have the convenience of extending their stay until last call at our oyster & cocktail bar.  (Tuesday-Thursday 11pm and Friday -Saturday until Midnight). Although we cannot guarantee, our staff will do their absolute best to accommodate all of our guest with extended table times should we have the flexibility and table availability to do so. This policy is in place to ensure that we are able to respect the needs of all of our guest and we appreciate your understanding.
  • We hold tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If running late, please let us know and we will do our best to hold the table until you arrive.
  • Vestal has a zero tolerance harassment policy. Please treat our staff with integrity and kindness, just as we gladly treat our guests.
  • We have a corkage fee of $15 for the first bottle and $25 for every additional bottle.
